I don't know how the fix works, just that it's very brief. Are there things you don't see with your feed? It seems you usually fade the European session trend rather than get in at the beginning of them.

efxnews.com is good. I don't know much about fundamentals. Just enough to get the trend, and to know whether uncertainty is a factor in the lead up to important events.

There is too much uncertainty. When that's the case, traders tend to want to get in at a better price. That's why I think EURUSD will go up to the sell limits, then down if the Fed is bullish.

The direction of each NFP day is probably predetermined hours beforehand, but due to the possibility of large spread widening it's too risky to trade it with a good risk:reward.
