It depends on the time-frame you like to trade. I know people who hold positions for 2+ years...they don't care what an hour chart looks like. I just heard of a guy last night who's been in a position w/ the swissy since 1974!!! (don't know if ...

Well, I'm looking for a short around 0300 hrs. PST (10/13/06) at 2589. Longer term, I expect it to move up, but not until it drops to "around" 2448. If 589 is not hit around this time I will disregard this as a trade as wait patiently for my long.

I'll throw my 2 cents in the ring here....I personally am going to buy eur/usd at 1.2448 (if it gets that low) and hold. I think we're due for a pretty good run up. I'm expecting it to hit at the end of this week, or early next....

Well, on to Plan B. Entered the market 1 pip above low, moved in my direction "about" 20 pips, moved stop to b/e, got kicked out. I'm not sure why the market didn't turn around here (although I suspect I know). The next potential turning point ...

I'll throw my 2 cents into the ring here....Without speaking for anyone else, I feel that there are very few, brief moments when I "know" what the market will do. In other words, I cannot open up the charts and make a trade at any given time. I may ...

Update — Okay, my calculations produce 1.2525, twice, and 1.2526 once. I think 25 is the better entry. Now the summer slump is ending, this bottom could come in before the end of the month. Mkt. may drop and then channel between 2650 and 2550 ...

Next long-term target is 1.2526ish. I'll firm up the exact target as more time passes. I'm expecting that low sometime around the end of September / beginning October.

I'm expecting a major downturn for Eur/Usd, just not sure WHEN. I'm buying at 2780 expecting only 20 (safely). Stronger support / resistance 2700 / 2947. When it reaches one of these levels, I'll enter and hold for awhile.
