Dear Shabs, if you think that any of the tousands of available MT4 indicatos will give you any advantage over the random coin flip over the long term, I have some bad news for you. You dont have to believe, if you dont have a doctorate in applied ...

I absolutely understand what are you saying, but this could be related to 99,9% of strategies here in FF. None of them works in the long term if you blindly follow the rules. They even dont works if you would try to modify the rules and indicators. ...

Hi Indalico, thanks for your effort. How does the profit / loss ratio looks like with this strategy? As I already wrote in an other thread, the renko channel is nothing else then the ordinary DONCHIAN BANDS indicator. If you want to visually ...

Hello, this indicator repaints. But its nothing else then ordinary Donchian bands. If you want to visually backtest this indicator, just plot Donchian bands on your chart (setting about 15) and you will see exactly where the RoboFX-trend-trader ...

Looking forward to it I like your trend determination by MACD cross 0 on H1. I think its superior to the H4 trendband. Now I play with Schaff RSI, which looks as good as your MACD. With setting like 80-50-200 / cross 50 line you can use it for ...

If you would follow all signals blindly, you will not be in a profit in the long run. You have to use your brain and experience over chatrs to choose which signal worths the risk a which not. I'm affraid this experience based discretion is not ...

I agree with you, you need heavy discretion to pick up the trades. Couple of years ago I backtested and forwardtested this strategy with many different options and settings in count, but didnt find any setup for long term profit with blindly ...

Hello, if you want to do some visual backtesting, then you can replace the Renko street channel with Donchinan bands indicator. The setting with period 15 (or so) should be close enough. They are almost the same in the real time testing.

nice approach, so your entry point would be on the second touch of the 1,54151 level with the TP on the next support level and with SL on the 1,54447 level? Are you sure this method would survive in the sidewise or choppy market?

unfortunately, your results are real. Jdpnz's backtesting indicator (big thank for that) is actually working very vell on my platoform - in comparison with the forward testing and claimend 50% win/loss ratio in long term is true. Skullcandy and ...
