Why do I always get an "order reject" message whenever I try to place an order on certain NZD pairs (such as GBP/NZD)? Does anyone know why these pairs are "prohibited" and who is actually allowed to trade them?

It seems like the vast majority of traders online (at least here) are spot forex, not futures. So if they "elect" out of IRC 988, then they still benefit from 40% taxed at 15% and the remaining 60% at the higher rate? Supposing a NEW trader begins ...
