Trading with them on Lmax. Posted several times in the LMAX thread. The platform is really pro, expecially if you scalp. They use Lmax but also other brokers offering currenex in the us and other to trade futures. Not sure about ILQ but they told ...

- Yosefx replied Aug 22, 2012
Nope, they charge the same commissions LMAX does, but they give you the platform for free with no volume requirements.

Just my 2 cents... Fastbrokers just released a new version of Pathfinder (2.6) and they now support stop orders on LMAX, so you can place entry stops and stop loss and let LMAX handle them natively. You can also modify order with drag and drop via ...

I am not sure they have public methods to grab historical rates, but I have also heard the quality of their data is poor. An alternative would be to use the Pathfinder Trader API by fastbrokers, I know they collect their own data up to the tick size ...

Yes they have their own api, but I am not a programmer, just using Pathfinders so don't know much about API. No complaints with their data, you can create your own timeframes like 3minutes, 20 tick bars etc.

As I said earlier these limitations are related to the LMAX data. Fastbrokers collect its own data from lmax, so on their platform any timeframe is available from ticks up to custom frames for any LMAX pair or product...

I think you guys are right, that is my setup as well. Keeping opened both future and Lmax side by side. Here is a picture with 2 charts(LMAX/6EFuture) and the depth of Market for both. As you see LMAX liquidity and spread is not bad at all.

Just for the sake of clarity, Pathfinder Trader from Fastbrokers does not uses bridges as it features a direct connection to their API, so orders are directly routed to their MTF with no delays or further hops. As for the data, they collect their ...

Most likely it was an article discussing market profile and or volume based strategies. The value area is a price range where 70% of trades have been executed during the previous trading sessions. A pretty useless indication in forex as the volumes ...

I fully agree with swing. unfortunately that's the traders life. Even if your trading can be mostly profitable you will always incurr in losses or a bad day. You have to build a portfolio of different products and allocate funds accordingly. I would ...

I think more will join in the future. Lmax is not a bad setup after all. As far as charting in my opininon is not bad at all. Yes, you have to enable it from the main settings, then you can do one click from the dome or through the chart trading.
- Yosefx replied May 16, 2012
You would also consider Pathfinder Trader by Fastbrokers if you scalp through LMAX. The dom is super. Have a look at the picture.
- Spread Comparison Tool and Execution Statistics
I was playing with the spread comparison tool at Fastbrokers.com website and I think is worth ...

This is the dome on Pathfinder Trader using the LMAX. There is decimal pricing and trading through it is pretty smooth. image

Commissions are the same and the platform is free when you have an account through FastBrokers. The platform has multiple connection capabilities, so you can have it connected to LMAx but also simultaneously to other ECNs like Currenex or Integral ...

Anyone can shed some light into the reported charting issues? Fastbrokers has just integrated LMAx into the Pathfinder Trader platform and the chart seems to be doing just fine. Any feedback is appreciated. image

Comparing Currenex spreads against MB Trading is useless. Currenex is still a credit based ECN so the market is done by the liquidity providers, while looks like in MB now even the small guy can be on top of the market. So maybe MB shows a spread of ...
