Why would anyone trade with a b.roker who has 2 pip spread on EUR/USD?

The settlement price was yes $40, yet I shorted it yesterday for $150 as somebody on the short side was buying it back at ridiculous prices. In fact, somebody wants to buy this contract currently for $125 and I've just put up a short order at $175 . ...

I'm not sure about minimum account. I started with 50k. I believe you could start also with 10k, but you'd have to ask.

No need for recommendations, just contact their client support. They all (ADM, RJO and ThinkorSwim) accept international clients. I am also not US-based.

Yes, they allow. Symbol GC. You should ask them to make futures and futures options available for your account.

Optionsxpress provides pit access for some products, but not electronic, like coffee, Cocoa and sugar. So you'd have limited access. The margin I have is $300 and I trade full contracts - minis have no liquid option markets. Before choosing a ...

I'm using ADM. Not the cheapest one around but have been with them for a long time. RJO is also good. Choose broker that provide not only access to electronic trading but also to pits. At ADM I pay 8 USD roundtrip. Same rates at RJO. This comes with ...

url I checked from cache that it was in fact published yesterday, so they're for real. I also read their last month's commentaries and found that they are nailing the moves pretty correctly. As this b.roker is owned by a prop house, then this ...

The correct wording is either write or short an option, as you're selling to the market something that you don't have. Selling an option would imply you're selling something that you already have! The interesting thing about yesterdays option trade ...

For example, the trades i've done so far have taken 300-500 USD of margin per contract. Ideally you would have at least 4-5 different instruments in your portfolio - silver, crude, grains, softs, FX futures options. These 5 positions could take up ...

I'm using ADM for my options trading. ( url ) In the past I've been also with RJO and Lind Waldock before it was taken over by that as.hole Corzine. So I'd pick either RJO or ADM. If you want to launch fund with serious money then you should talk to ...

That's absolutely great question! Of course I sometimes get ripped apart. In fact, 3-5% of my trades end up problematic, I either have to close them at loss, hedge them with futures or bite my nails until they expire. Couple of rules. 1. Short ...

Thanks for the link. They nailed it on Gold and SP500, called also for some support test for EUR/USD today, which has also happened now. Why would a prop house share such information?

I trade only futures options available on liquid US futures excanges like ICE, NYMEX, COMEX, CBOT, CME, GLOBEX, NYBOT, etc. The reason is liquidity. I haven't find similar conditions. The instruments I trade can be seen here: url

Today shorted again this Dec 2012 Comex Silver future's 125 call option for 0.035 or $175 per contract. My bet is that Silver will have hard times surpassing the 37.5 level short-term, or 50 dollars medium-term. It will definitely not reach 125 by ...

OK guys, my first trade of the week is now initiated. I just shorted Dec 2012 COMEX Silver 125 call option for 0.035 or $175 per contract. If on Nov 27 (the time when this option contract expires) Silver will trade below 125 then this $175 will be ...

Onu, I wondered when you'll show up. Stop busting everybody's balls on FF, it's not helping anybody. It's Sunday, go to church, sailing, etc. Let off some steam and then come back and post something that is actually useful to all of us.

Their execution quality is very good, I've received some slippages but they are very small, and slippages at this b.roker can work also in my advantage. I've done hundreds of trades with this b.roker and haven't received any requotes - this is their ...
