Both deal desks. Their execution systems are not outside of MT4, so they can set their server to any time they want more easily.
- fxstevyboy replied Jul 10, 2013
This has been discussed previously on this thread by Justin. Has to do with execution times matching between their main system and the MT4 server. Unfortunately, MT4 doesn't have (but should have) the basic ability for a customer to change EOD on ...

Let me explain things to you. There are no good EAs. Check out something like Tradesight to learn how to make money. You can't automate yourself to profits, but they make it as close as possible.

MB Trading makes it easy.
- fxstevyboy replied Oct 5, 2012
I never understand when people say this. If you dislike MT4, it doesn't take much to learn the MB Trading platform, and once you do, you'll have way more control of your orders than on another other platform. 28 order types! I find it to be the best ...

My understanding is that the issue isn't latency. MB does not execute your trade. It gets routed out to banks (unless you hit a customer in house). Sometimes, it gets routed and that bank has already moved by the time your order gets there, so it ...

No crap. Just use MB, pick the plan you want, and stop messing with the unregulated crap that is out there. Ignore the nonsense about bad fills, it doesn't exist, I haven't had any, and just trade. They are the only broker that is US-based, highly ...

I trade the FREE EXN plan all day and the EURUSD spread does NOT average anywhere close to 1.1 pips. It's much closer to 0.8 all session. But, where your math falls even further off is that on the FREE EXN plan, my limit orders cut into the spread ...

I haven't had a single problem all session. Maybe you should offer some details, like which environment and platform you are using, and take it to their support team instead of this forum. I've run over 30 trades in the last 12 hours with no issues ...

I'm sitting here trading a EURUSD around 0.8 to 0.9 pips. How in the world is that wide?

I totally agree that someone can have a bad experience while others do not. I was just pointing out that if you dial the right number (order desk) when you have a reason to place an order or have an order problem, they have no reason to transfer ...

Sounds more like user error. I've called the Trade Desk. Never had to be transferred. Either there are a lot of people on these boards that don't know what they are doing, or there are a lot of people on these boards making stuff up.

In the last 10 days of trading, I have netted out slightly better on the PFL plan placing the same trades in both accounts (one FREE EXN, one PFL). Executions have been superb, no delays, everything virtually instant. Only wild card is the swap ...

I tested both live environments for about a month, although I had to use MT4 in both to make them equal since FREE EXN still isn't available via their far superior Desktop Pro software. I found executions to be snappy in both environments. With the ...

Just about everyone of my orders is market in, Limit out, so with MB, I pay $2.00 roundtrip, and I get taken out before the bid/ask crosses most of the time. Way cheaper than IB for me. I guess if you mostly ran market orders, it's a conversation, ...
