Hi RR You were running several EA's on your server a while back now, would you mind sharing what the different results have been? Profit/Loss, smoothness of equity curve, etc.

is this just an indicator that you draw on your chart between prices? what are the T1 T2, etc levels, what are the sums to calculate them??? more info..

RR, from my understanding, does this mean that you are simply playing the Stop and Reverse of the OsMA and a fixed 50pip stop?

you may be getting alerts every time the bar changes colour! as it crosses the previous bar price it will fluctuate while the price bounces around near that price, then once it moves far enough past in either direction it will stop.

i see no reason why it couldn't be used on any pair. if you pull the MACD/OSMA up on any pair, any timeframe it does the same thing. what you could do for example, is look at all the major pairs, on timeframes that suit you, and see which ones have ...

well it has signalled now, because the previous bar adjusts it shows now that it signalled 1 hour ago... this makes me wonder about back testing, it won't be very accurate which is a shame. i'm in long, so i will see how it goes...

my charts don't reflect that but the data feeds always differ.... as for is it setting up??? only time will tell. from a TA perspective, not that this system uses it, it looks like a descending triangle, support around low 2.0200's GJ is ready to go ...

I use Dealbook not MT platforms, so wouldn't have a clue how to code MQL. This was my first foray into playing with code, so happy I made it work. Dealbook has Audio, SMS and Email alerts built in for price and indicators.... all there to be used.

my new notebook has Vista and so far no probs with GFT Dealbook 360. i had demo account bugs too, not too often, mostly charts not updating unless you manually refreshed... with a live account i haven't had any software problems. hope this helps

thanks for your reply i'll have a search for that Yahoo group. i have contacted GFT re: the imaginary spike.... it's been corrected on some timeframes, but not all as yet... I just need to zoom in and move it around with the hand not the arrows ...
