FF decided to start this week on a Saturday, so I had to add a fix to allow for that. Also now if you delete the URL, it just uses the saved file instead and doesn't give a 'Download Error'. Version 1.08a is up on post 1.

That's inconvenient, but it works for me too. Also tried the other URLs: url works in my browser but not in the indicator url gives me the calendar from two weeks ago url is still working for me, so I'm sticking with that one for now.

Manual workaround won't always work with 1.07c. Try v1.08 and the URL given in post 1.

Got a reply from FF admin. As suspected, they are doing some work on their site. New temporary link for now is: url It worked for me.

I doubt FF are aware of the problem. I'll contact them. For those that can reach DailyFX but not FF, can you try putting in the new URL ( url ) and see what you get. For info, the possible download errors (in experts tab) are: Download failed - ...

I have no clue. But I'm glad the new settings are proving useful to someone.

Does it work with DailyFX? What messages are there in the experts tab?

You can't have more than one per chart because they will both try to use the same graphic object names and delete each other's objects. It is supposed to work if you change the 'TableTitle' property, but I think it was still unreliable. Best to ...

It requires incoming ticks. You can get it to work at the weekend by refreshing the chart to give it a kick. However it needs real ticks to work out the server time and put the vertical lines in the right place on the chart.

There's a problem with FF sometimes serving up cached pages. I think I can do a workaround for this, if FF don't fix it, but it won't be today.

There are other news indicators that show 'previous' and 'forecast', but 'actual' is a problem. It's possible to add 'actual' numbers maybe a few minutes after the event, but even that is a huge amount of work because it's not information that's ...

I don't think that's a user-agent problem. MT4 version doesn't matter either. Operating System might make a difference. If you can grab the file in IE/Edge then it should also work with v107d.

Oops I forgot to update the version number. Please download it again.

Yes. FF seem to be having problems. OK here's the alternative fix for NewsBrk. Here's what seems to be going on: FF have changed the URLs for their XML feeds to these new FF.net addresses, but they are not working properly. The old FF.com URLs may ...

I will. I'm going to put the URLs and some other things in the settings, so this sort of thing is easier to deal with and the guys still having trouble can try a few different things to identify their problem.
- euclid replied Mar 7, 2017
OK. Updated to use the new URL.
- euclid replied Mar 7, 2017
Sure. Looks easy enough. I can't test it myself, so I'll put it on here for you to test out. Edit. I don't know what these look like. What should the text of the notification be?

I've been having another look at this. I have a new fix. There were some settings required to allow redirects to https. Can you guys try this one.

I was seeing the same problem on Sunday, but it went away after a few hours. I haven't had time to investigate exactly what is going on. The quick fix might not be working for everyone. This manual workaround url can be used to get the FF calendar ...
