How are the NDs valid NDs when closing down?

Not here to brag, but I have a master's degree in Economics. Bitcoin (and cryptos in general) are as classical a bubble as a bubble may get. The rally will go on, but exclusively due to speculation. At a certain point, it will stop and Malcolm is ...

Short in EURCAD from the ND, stopped out at the (current) bottom.

Yeah, obviously didn't work. Why is that (in contrast to last week) I don't seem to be able to catch any moves? My trades (Pres' VZA based) this week have almost always been losses or BEs, barely reaching 1R.

EURGBP short from 0.8791. Let's see how it goes.

Whenever I try to use stops less than 20 pips, it does this: marked red, beautiful ND at the right spot, correct reaction. SL 5 pips above its high. Wooosh, knocked out.

Regarding the Sharpshooter technique: do you actually care whether the high volume bar is up or down? Pres said somewhere that he does not, and I must say I regularly see short opportunities after high volume down bars and vice versa.

Today I got really lucky. I traded off London Open and my TP was hit just before news sent EUR/USD skywards. Lucky me is not greedy and when not constantly monitoring his trades sets a fixed 2R TP ^^

In his older posts, Malcolm commented really good trades with ironic remarks about how VSA obviously does not work^^

Agreed. Plus his technique just makes so much sense.

There is this weird guy whatshisname in this thread from whom I have stolen the UHV zone thingy, he seems to know one or two things about it^^ As Malcolm keeps saying: VSA is crap.

Another beautiful trade on EURUSD. Blue line is entry (which was a little late because I missed the NS bar). The green line was my target for 2R.

Today gave me a quite beautiful (I think) textbook trade. I entered short on the break of the high volume up bar this morning and took it down until volume peaked and broke the high of the high volume candle. My exit ended up right at the bottom. ...

That's what I usually do, as well. But when price whipsaws like that, I tend to get nervous
- Codaky replied Nov 28, 2017
This is actually quite frustrating. I entered after the high-volume zone was left to the downside. Right after that price started to whipsaw. I eventually moved my stop above the ND. When price started to move again, it made sure to take out my stop ...

It seems you were right. Although it was not Asia that kicked me out, but London Open.

I am actually in the same trade as HiddenGap. And for the same reasons as well I have entered twice (blue lines). The red line is the current SL (for both trades). Trade 1 is thus safe, trade 2 is... well, let's see what Asia brings us. I am ...

Thank you for the advice! I'll be incorporating it

How do you guys place your SLs? Every single trade I placed this morning would be greatly in profit by now, if only they had not first caught my SLs. Every. Single. One. An idea I will try is to place them beyond the respective zone, but that makes ...

Yes, blue line was the entry, red line the SL.
