X --- X - buying from the lower boundary and selling at the upper boundary will lose money if the downtrend is stronger than the amplitude of the cycle. Y --- Y - selling at the upper boundary and buying back at the lower boundary will also lose ...

Critical point in time for the blue cma32. At this point the upward rising channel is still intact and if prices rise from here it'll remain that way. If however, price breaks below the current lower boundary, then we'd need to redraw the channel to ...

Sorry, but I don't read it that way. His use of the phrase "when we know the channel will rise long enough" confuses the issue. I don't think we can ever know a channel will rise for long enough, of course it's more likely if a major channel ...

Practically speaking, what he's saying is that going long from the bottom boundary of a falling channel is risky because the upper boundary may be reached before you've had any real gain in the price. Vice versa for going short from the top boundary ...

When a full cma crosses its half magnitude cma you'll often get a direction change or a sudden surge in price. The greater the magnitude of the full cma the greater the price change is likely to be. Note :- we have about 5 days before the pink cma64 ...

Just playing around, but we know price action can exit a move in a reverse pattern to how it entered the move (cycle pattern going in gets reversed on the way out). image

Sometimes it's not possible to construct a topping out scenario because it doesn't fit the rules for drawing cma's and/or drawing channels. This is however a possible scenario. It would require price to end in a similar point of the yellow path. ...

Bitcoin Daily chart 1. cma256 (aqua) is the dominant cycle 2. As long as it keeps rising bitcoin is still bullish 3. A price fall or extended sideways move could result in the cma256 topping out 4. The aqua rectangle shows the area within which ...

Played out nicely on this occasion. More testing required. image In 120 bars the orange flip point will start rising rapidly. If it reaches the current price then the orange cma will top out. If price moves higher again before that occurs the ...

image Trying to apply logic to a prediction of whether a cma will continue higher or top out 1. Orange cma is the dominant cycle on this move, if it tops out the move is over. 2. The flip point will remain at the horizontal orange line until price ...

Possible move for stocks. Not great cyclical patterns - makes it difficult. FP in 3rd leg as per 5 leg move image

123 bars remain before orange 512 cma flip point will start rising significantly, meaning that if price breaks orange channel lower boundary there's quite a distance to travel before the orange cma turns down. I don't think it's possible for price ...

Practising Millard's work on the 1min. You'll note I'm anticipating a 5 leg move from top to bottom of the orange channel. That would put the FP 1/2 way through the 3rd leg as shown by the orange dot. This could be wrong but I must wait for the ...

I'm finding it difficult to draw channels for SP500 atm. I think a large cycle (possibly cma1024) is having a strong influence on the smaller cycles ironing out their swings. You can see that cma512 and lower are just running parallel atm. I suspect ...
