No arrows on those because they aren't engulfing the previous bars. Their openings are actually below the prior closes, not above or equal.

So regardless of what the higher timeframes are showing, you're simply trading the directional or color changes on the h4 - am I right? For example, you're not looking for a Weekly engulf to indicate a particular direction on h4?

Thanks 60! Since I'm in the US and I'm typically asleep when London opens + I work during the day, I was thinking of focusing more on H4 instead of Daily/H1

Hey 60MM, After Weekly engulfs on EU and EC, I entered last night after H4 engulfs for 130 pips per lot on the EC, image and 140 pips per lot on the EU image

Hey 60M, In this Brent trade, did you check on the Weekly trend, or did you just identify the Daily trend as down and look for a retrace entry at Daily SR on the Hourly? Just wondering, Bry

It sounds like you've got it Katfx. If the Weekly engulf occurs in the trending direction of the pair, your chances of success will be that much better, because you will be rejoining the trend after a pullback/retrace... Am I right 60? Bry

From your previous posts, in this scenario, the same TF SR would be the low of the prior Daily candle that didn't engulf, right?

hey 60M, When the Daily closes down - but does not engulf the prior day, we should look at the H1 or m15 for a retrace and engulf down, then enter with TP at the low of the Daily candle. Agree? Im just testing my understanding of your post #1249.

GpdCad 194 pips. After seeing bullish engulf on Weekly, I entered on H4 engulf (white arrow) and rode the move to an SR level for a nice win... image image
