@ForexKiwi based on forward testing, I can confirm that max trades currently works "per currency pair" it's not global max trades. so, it is currently working as per your requirement.

i'm not pledging for these guys but the thing is, they keep their word with "fixed" spreads. This is why i don't even touch these exotic pairs with such large spreads. url win some loose some, atleast you don't get to pay outrageous swap rates. ...
