I think all currency pairs against usd will stay high until us shut down and debt ceiling issues are resolved. The weakness of usd will keep them stay elevated no matter whatever bad news that come out around them..

I think there will be sept taper, but usd may go up just for a while then will settle lower again. Maybe to 84 or 85 then go down again..It is just reducing a bit, not completely stop the qe. So there is no reason for usd to stay high permanently.
