Hard and fast moves against Uncle Buck right across the board. Fibre getting support as well as cable. Should be something to be had when they start taking profits. Don't normally trade the Aussie, but heard that it was due a correction. Might take ...

Nice call. Did you get filled?

Euro/USD — Thanks.

Euro/USD — What's the significance of 4140?

Which is exactly the point I made in my earlier posts. If a big wall of money makes the market move irrationally, don't fight it, even if it's contrary to the TA which preceded the move, and which works for you eight times out of ten. I'm signing ...

Yeah, I know, but all moves start from somewhere - if you see what I mean.

Top bolli now 13805. Amazing. They'll probably get it. Seems easy enough. No sense in the last three hours, either here, DX or USD/Yen

I didn't mean to suggest there is no place for TA. I've lived by it for too long. It's just that there are occasions when you have to give way to forces which you can't control. Trick is to recognise them as soon as you can!

New low for the DX.

Well observed Mr, Hatch. It just means that basically, they can do what they like by pushing a wall of money in a particular direction. Technical analysis goes out the window. Euro just put in a new high, so you're proven correct. Should open up ...

DX going back to LoD. If 77 goes here, 13800 isn't out of the question. Freaky Fridays.

200 MA? What timescale?

American traders need to make up their minds for the rest of their session. London markets trashing the dollar. EU will probably rise in the next half hour as UK players close some burned out shorts. If Uncle Sam supports his own currency later on, ...

Not really a trap, just some closes before 4.30 pm UK time. Question is, was 77 a blow off for today, or even the move?
- penycae replied Oct 1, 2010
Just not going to lie down. DX looking punch drunk. All in all a poor showing from Uncle Sam. See what the London close brings.
- penycae replied Oct 1, 2010
DX looks really poorly. Just tried to put a FIB grid on it, but a waste of time, as it's already at the bottom. Can't be allowed to continue - national pride and all that.

If the US dollar is trash, what hope is there for the Great British Pound?
- penycae replied Sep 29, 2010
Nobody's selling. Coming back to the daily high. Movement on cable and the DOW, but they're all holding on here.
- penycae replied Sep 29, 2010
Still won't lie down. DOW gains probably helping to prop it up. I think the DOW will fail later in the session. Might give the dollar some support here and on cable.

Unexpected strength over the last two hours. Failed to take out HoD (so far) so should drop to 1.360 before close.
