Good trading jordfx, you certainly seem to know what you are doing. I will have to go back over your posts on the weekend so I perhaps can learn what you are doing too. Thx for posting.

To borrow from Police Academy for a sec: many many good points there mmaker! Once again. A couple of things to consider (I am being mentored at the moment by a guy who has a long trading history and have "learned" quite a lot). We trade both EU and ...

SM really only suggests the 15 min timeframe to trade I think anyone and also the stoploss for the GJ is much bigger than for EU so the R:R is often comparable since EU has less volatility.

Terrific post thx Joa. Having tried many (15+) methods, some of which worked for a while, I treat all methods with caution. I read once that when you enter a trade you should always accept that it will fail, that every trade you enter is destined to ...

Good going anyone, I hope your success has legs (and runs with you on board). nightshade, it looks like a mess. With all the talk of Cyprus etc, is there any wonder. I have it close to you with the 3 rises, but no way I could point at the "top" and ...

Every last one Neo. Have started a new idea.

me too Anyone, why I stopped trying. Doesn't mean it won't make money, just not me. As far as I am aware (I used to have a MYFXbook account) the account doesn't have to be an EA to record results. Apparently, for educators, it only records ...

It certainly would be a good way to promote the course to have a MYFXbook record out there for all to see.... How hard can that be?
- russss replied Mar 22, 2013
In the course videos I have seen he says for new people to take profit at 50 pips. 50 pips is TP, not a reversal point.

Easy in Hindsite Ishtana. The long gave up 50 pips and the short close to 50. Study hard and good luck.

No, didn't take it. Was stopped out of my long at SL. SM would call this a stop hunt. Sure looks like it, if they exist. Got mine.... I hdidn't have a trigger from my method to take the long.

That is what I am looking at too Joa. The consolidation on the 4hr GU of late is unusual and tighter than it looks. There are pinbars and railroad tracks on both sides of it so it is winding up pretty tight. As you posted, we will probably get a ...

"real stop hunts"....difficult to see. Likely stop hunts: all to do with the candle patterns: pins, shooting stars, hanging man, dark cloud cover, etc, especially at significant levels: 50 mav, Mayo, LOD, HOD, etc. It is a game of probability and ...

That's how I understand it Ishana. I made a typo on my last post and have corrected it there. PF is a pointer to level 1, not level 3 as I had it.
- russss replied Mar 13, 2013
Ishtana, I could be wrong in this but as I said, a PF is confirmed ONLY by price moving away from it with Vector (momentum) which means it is too late to trade it. Look for the PF not to trade it but to trade the ensuing level 1 or 2. If you do ...

Ishtana, you certainly have fired up this old thread! Well done! You are understandably struggling to see the Peak Formations. Remember Steve says they are where the MM is being active so you expect for there to be big volatility. So anywhere where ...

Ishtana, I am sorry but it doesn't look like you have done the course. How many times have you watched the videos? How much backtesting have you done? i agree, the method is very difficult to master (I have given it up as I don't have the patience). ...

Well said FMF. Way better than what I was going to post.

Dan, doesn't really matter what I use as i look at 15', 1hr and 4hr for level 3 (see post). My suggestion is for you to backtest for levels/EW type moves in 3's. then look for the W's,M's in those level 3's to be sure they are level 3 (may be ...
