Wow, OK, that seemed to work. Thanks... Wacky that url is borked. I got an email about a Nadex online seminar about Bull Spreads. I'll likely be attending.

Anybody able to get into the Nadex trading platform recently? Every time I log in, it loads only text, nothing else.

If you sign up for an account at OptionBit, you are asked for minimal information before getting to the funding part. I just cancelled/backed out there, and I had a demo available for 3 days (not 1 anymore) when I returned to the main page. I could ...

Binaries have spread costs just like spot forex. $10 is the minimum deposit at OptionBit.

kapital, Most of these small binary options shops are located in Cyprus, and do work with U.S. residents. Check out the rest of the thread for more info on this and some posts that touch a bit on your other questions. Johnny, I had the same thoughts ...

Return to Binaries — After doing a lot of research on FX Options, I thought I'd refocus on binaries and check back in here to see if any of the thread subscribers or new readers had any further developed thoughts on Nadex and/or binaries. I ...

That's good to know about the platform change. I tried to open a Prodigy demo just now, but it's not generating an email response. I don't see any platform info on Quantum or Platinum.

I opened one once I realized it was possible to do so without funding. This allows me to check pricing without opening a demo every 2 weeks. I haven't funded yet, because I'm still studying my different options when it comes to options :nerd:: url

You can close binaries early, but the profit/loss is based on the point scale of the contract. At expiry, this scale is disregarded and your profit is all or nothing. url

Type into a drop-down menu... what a concept. Looks like I can type in any amount I want? Doesn't have to be increments of 10 or 100 thousand?

My Ikon FX Prime platform demo only has 100,000 options. Where are 10k?
- agent6488 replied Feb 3, 2011
I'm still confused. I wish Ikon had a reference for this stuff. Are you saying that any trade I'm in that was made through a custom quote (some weird strike that is not on the table), can't be exited manually? It can only expire on its own? Only ...

Oh, I get it, you have to go with the real-time quoting for expiries that are coming up soon; I have noticed that. I didn't know the part about , as I haven't had the demo that long; good to know. So if I've bought or sold into a position, I can ...

Can you explain this further? What is the difference between a dealer quote and the initial quote given? Where did you you hear about the 24 hour rule? Is there a certain distance price will move away from strike before I can't trade out of a ...

Does anyone have any experience with the Ikon FX Prime platform telling them that it cannot quote an option because "the selected expiry price is today"? I'll request a quote for tomorrow, and it will give me this error, even though the platform's ...

Honestly none of them really looked legit; I don't really want to look them up again and promote them here. It was just a simple web search that you can do along the lines of FX Options. The results go on for many pages as with most web searches.

GCI and Finotec don't have an option to select United States when opening a live account, so those are out for me. XTB has some weird setup where you have to send them forms in the regular mail. I imagine they don't serve the U.S. anyway. Some ...

Looks like an interesting platform. Can't tell if it is offered to U.S. customers.
- agent6488 replied Jan 20, 2011
Thanks for doing the research on that. The link to it showed up in a basic web search. I guess I'll have to look into Ikon.

Maybe not offered in Australia. I think the laws there and the South Pacific have been changing. url
