Thanks for the link AllyB. Masudhossain you have a very valid point about all the keyboards......Ok I've settled on the LG 21.5 ips for monitors. Right now I'm leaning toward one I just found on url the 9000 Extreme, seems to have the most punch ...

Masudhossain & Passerby, I was willing to spend 3k for the computer alone, and probably about 8-900 for the monitors and brackets. Passerby, running 3 PCs is a unique approach as well, hadn't considered that. Thank you.

This thread is old, I guess I overlooked it somehow, but there was a question very early about exit strategy. You can't do it on an EA I believe, but it has some merit . I use a judicial use of Starc bands set at 7/21 to pick an exit. When the ...

Ok I have a question. I often do as Jack was saying, simply place a counter order to position to act as a SL. It works great, especially when I am sitting in front of the computer. I always thought it was vulnerable though because I didn't know if ...

I always use SLs. It only takes a internet issue, computer glitch or something to blow a big hole or ruin your acct. It's more trouble to close the trade, and sometimes annoying particularly when scalping, but they have saved me mucho x many times. ...

Well, actually I thought I was helping. I pretty much stated what method I use, and why the conservatism on lot size. That's trading, and I thought that is why we're here. I was in no way meaning for anyone to count the money made or lost. All I ...

I am trying to understand how I possibly offended anyone. I documented 90 pips today in a very slow market, that stands for itself.

Oh boy, haven't we all. I did it 3 times as a matter of fact. Subject to do it again. That's a sickening feeling. I think the most important thing I learned was realistic stop losses and money management. Don't be afraid to pour it on when you have ...

Out of my long at 5892, doesn't feel right, take my 30 pips and run.

Out of my short at 5860. Getting scared. 60 pips, now let's go back up? Buying at 5862. SL at 5800. TP 5927 Only 5$/pip, will add more if it builds steam.

Well it didn't take the bait. MBT platform, high of 5918 or thereabouts. I had simply projected what the high should be using starc bands set at 8 and 23. Works about 50% of the time. I also drew a line across the last 3 highs on the 15 minute ...
