You're right. It accepts Canadian traders (except those living in Ontario or British Colombia). Thank you for the reminder!

Nice work, but how would you account for broker spreads (or commissions)? You'd only want to trade if it makes commercial sense (and you're able to at least cover your costs).

I'm surprise no one has mentioned FP-Markets yet. They're an MT4/5 ECN broker that's popular with Canadians, in part because they support CAD as an account base currency. Source: url

Totally agree with that. The UK has spent the most on coronavirus amongst G7 countries, for the worst outcome. Perhaps it's time to stop the wasteful spending?

I'm surprised that the GBP has been so bullish this year. I guess people assume the Brits and Europeans will find a way to fudge it all over again. But this is crunch time, and I don't think there's more appetite for fudge!

According to an article in the FT, more Poles are in favour of the EU now (80%) than they were when they joined (78%). Polexit is very unlikely. However, I do think it would be a better outcome for the EU if Poland left!

Damn these politicians know how to keep us entertained... the suspense is untenable lol I moved almost all of my assets out of GBP earlier in the year as I feared a no deal outcome. A few weeks ago, I felt like one was more likely. Now, I'm totally ...

Looking beyond today, and into next week, where do you see GBP/USD heading in the event of a Brexit deal being agreed? In my opinion, we can expect to see Sterling jump 1.40 against the Dollar. What are your thoughts?

Yeah, the PDFs are blank. What a joke! Here's 2 PDFs (with actual content) I have found useful: Forex Trading PDFs: includes free training material from Mario Singh and Steve Meizinger. Technical Analysis PDFs: touches on trend and momentum ...

I think that FXOpen offers a $10 no deposit bonus when you open a Ticktrader ECN account. But is it really worth your time? I agree with the other posters that this shouldn't be the reason why you chose a broker over another.

Likewise, my trailing stop was also triggered ;-)

It's simply ridiculous to claim that AvaTrade is a scam. They're regulated in many countries including the UK and EU, have hundreds of thousands of customers and have beem in business for many years. You can't make unsubstantiated claims like that.

This is obviously a blow to the US, but it also puts the European Union (and the relatively small size of its internal market) into perspective. As for the UK and its decision to go it alone, outside of the EU, good luck with that!

They're right about decreased labour market participation... I've seen a number of people around stop looking for work. And they're also right about the limits of monetary policy - clearly, QE or interest rate cuts won't help your local bar or ...

Re: Revolut, they support bank transfers to Interactive Brokers and other brokers. Bank transfers have a reputation for being slower than card payments, but mine have always been processed on the day by Revolut and Interactive Brokers.

It'll be interesting to see how far this trend continues.

The article's disclaimer gives the author's game away... "The owner of Oilprice.com owns a substantial number of shares of this featured company and therefore has a substantial incentive to see the featured company’s stock perform well". Save time ...

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned risk management yet. Before you open a position, you need to have an exit in mind - an exit in the event of an upside, and another one in the event of a downside. This means placing take-profit and stop-loss ...
