Nice Indis/EA/Strat! Been manually trading it by eye (M5 - waiting for distance to be +50 or -50 then entering) for the past few hours and was pretty impressed overall. I'm curious - occasionally after distance was 100 or greater the horizontal line ...

Phillip Futures is going to offer MT4 trading to USA clients soon. Reportedly... url url

Time to get the gravestone ready for retail forex trading in the U.S... I have to put some of the blame on the CFTC, the NFAs "parents". They're the ones who decided retail forex needs to be regulated - they're also the ones who then said to the NFA ...
One of social trading service Currensee’s most highly touted managers between 2010 and 2011, Adantia LLC found themselves in hot water with the NFA after being accused of misappropriating client funds, purposely misleading the NFA, and “failure to ...

I echo Magix's sentiments, 100%. Everyone runs across an indicator they believe is 100% accurate - I hear it alllll the time, "there's no way this system can lose!" So then you spend hours coding up an indicator to an EA or more likely spend ...

I would agree. Can't see ATC wanting to put up the $20m in net capital they would need to to get setup in the states as an FCM/FDM. Not to mention, since they have that BCC and fine from the NFA for taking the other side of their clients' trades I ...

Still will never be my favorite brokerage, but it does look like they're setting up to be a full fledged brokerage outside the US: url Looks like they're teaming up with a "Mr Ruscak Vladimir", same guy behind "FX Hill"

U.S. Trader here, but as far as I know most MT4 brokers will allow you to partial close trades with a minimum size of $1k (.01 lots). I know for a fact it's possible to place these orders at: FXDD M2 Forex ILQ Citi I don't think it's possible at ...

First of all - thx for your work on this EA Magix. I've been running the EA for a number of days now on $25k account, public myfxbook here: url on three pairs, EUR/USD, USD/JPY, and AUD/USD and things look good, riskpercent @ 1%. Have been running ...

TRUE TRUE Futures contracts? No MT4 brokerage (yet) CFDs on futures? There are literally hundreds of (non-US) brokers who offer this. In order to trade futures via MT4 the brokerage would need to be connected with the respective exchange, COMEX, ...

Every broker in the US abides by the NFA regulations regarding FIFO and Hedging. However, a number of brokers have found work-arounds to the regs. These brokers use "netting" on their MT4 platform. You can essentially trade however you'd like on ...

You're not going to find much "insurance" in the forex industry. In the US you can trade with CitiFX Pro, which used to claim to offer FDIC insurance for funds in your retail forex account NOT being used for margin-trading. Although recently they ...

Bets on who they'll sell to? FXCM? Gain? Oanda? ILQ?
- Forex2k10 replied Jun 11, 2013
I think your approach is a little too "black and white"... What's your definition of a "legit" brokerage? If it's by net cap, then OANDA trumps FXCM. Last time I checked FXCM had ~$146m in retail forex deposits, and a little of ~$54m in net cap. ...

If by "good" you mean ATC partakes in the profit sharing of client losses while claiming to be an ECN (who introduces to FXCM). While I agree their spreads are great and commissions decent, something rubs me the wrong way when the NFA goes out of ...

@Nck12278 - I know exactly what you mean when you say you've seen double-digit slippage at Fin. The last NFP event was the last straw for me at FinFX. Regarding FXDD and M2: I've had an account with FXDD for awhile and only had an account for ~3 ...

I second what jhehe says regarding market makers tend to be better for news trading. Though I'm sure there are exceptions. I've been trading the news across a number of brokers - ATC, IBFX, FXDD, FinFX, MB Trading, FXCM, and most recently with these ...
