yes, you are right, we must guard against analysis paralysis that said, for intraday traders, those who like to be flat come rollover, ADR stats are a useful tool

there is an indi over here that allows the user to calculate probabilities regarding ADR....a useful tool! by perusing the calculations of various ADR periods the user can somewhat optimize the period for different markets I dont see much difference ...

what would be useful is to know the average pips for a session over X periods if for example the users session begins at 0700 GMT and ends at 1400 GMT what is the average pips during that session for the last X periods

ok thanks given none of my other indicators and utilities flick off/on when changing pairs, I assume your range scanner could be made to do the same. .....are you happy for me to have my dev. make changes to your code?

one question, If the chart pair is changed on the chart on which the range scanner is loaded, the range scanner data will flick off then on with each pair change. Can this flick off then on, be avoided? An easy solution would simply be to not change ...
