Burton, Could it be because your ID fib size of 18 pips is less than the Minimum ID fib size of 50 which is making this pair Not Tradable. Don't know if that would impact the painting of FIB lines ... Just a guess...

If by hedging you mean buy & sell the same pair it may be harder than you think. InterbankFX (& probably other brokers) won't allow you to play that game any more.
