I do not see any signs of weakness yet and the FED is still on the buy side, so dip buying still preferred strategy here.

PMI 49.4...... NMI 51.4....... bearish numbers, lets see if we break the highs or start turning......
- johninthai replied Aug 27, 2016
Seems like we are getting that break out to the downside anyway, lets see what next week brings. US elections are coming closer - uncertainty - markets do not like that.......will finally bring more volatility !
- johninthai replied Aug 26, 2016
Good luck but I do not see that happening just yet, we need more of a catalyst to get a break out of either direction.

I see no reason to short this market yet.

@suheosua.....wouldn't it be easier to be long in a uptrend and buy the dips ? Then again......longs and shorts are needed or there wouldn't be a market

If you keep saying that long enough it will eventually happen...........bears are never wrong.......just early

- johninthai replied Jul 26, 2016
That's about a 5% drop from current levels.........could be possible......lets see what happens after the FED meeting !
- johninthai replied Jul 25, 2016
hehehe, good one.....well I'm seeing a pull back, how far..........2138..........2125 ??
- johninthai replied Jul 22, 2016
and again......what is your reason ? Or is just ......hoping for ???
- johninthai replied Jul 20, 2016
bold move......wonder what your strategy/analysis is behind this ?
- johninthai replied Jul 20, 2016
Got the same idea, fundamentals......PMI - bullish.............NMI - bullish........ consumer sent- bullish......earnings are probably coming out better then expected. So there is no reason the SPX500 should drop except for maybe a minor pull back ...
- johninthai replied May 12, 2016
U can use the COT report for currencies
- johninthai replied May 12, 2016
no, that's not how it works. PMI for example is a good tool to see where the SPX500 will go longer term. Do some research on PMI data.

I'm using them, works great but for most data we have to wait a month to see if all works well, then can give feedback. But so far so good.
