Exciter, "Arrival" means the return of price to the demand/support level (the front line of the 'base'). The point is that if price makes a sharp ascent (to supply level) or descent (to demand level), it would repel sharply too, towards our profit ...

If I am using Demark's filters (qualifiers) before entering, the success rate is above 70% and it nets number of huge pips. Newbies tried to enter blindly at every breakout (as per Mouteki rules offcourse), they got hurt within few weeks/months. ...

Well, there are well defined rules for placing a PO. Ken's pdf summarizes those "odd enhancers". Minimum score of the setup should be more than 8 for a PO. Y'day I used a CAD/JPY PO and I didn't follow the PO rules and was stopped out. I also lost ...

Yes, I revisited my 4 page trade plan. Its mostly talks about the trading activity rather than the psychological part. Though I am aware of the psychological challenges, I am not quite sure how to pen it down. Will spend more time on that. Regarding ...

Took the USD/JPY short at 83.25. ARW, on cable daily (GBP/USD) , I can see an average quality supply line at entry around 1.6050 and stop around 1.6095. But I wont be much thrilled about it as yet. Offcourse, that's my take.

Thanks Ken/Rufus. I think one way to understand and work this method is also to occasionally discuss some S/D levels that didn't work out. I am posting the latest 1H chart of USD/JPY where the lower supply level didn't work out (thankfully I missed ...

I think somewhere he has said it's any open. But it's a known fact that London open is best quality one as far as trading activity is concerned followed by NY and Japan open in that order. However, let's wait for Ken to confirm.

Yes, the idea was that -- to ignore the levels that had very low volume of trading. Christmas weekend was just a well known cause of poor trading volume in the recent example few posts before. But we can't consider all such causes. That's ...

I see your point. However, I was only thinking about filtering out trades on low volumes instead of taking trades. But yes, if the platform's volume figure itself is not a good representative of real figures, then it defeats the purpose. I see your ...

Kenneth/Rufus, Looking at same EUR/AUD chart again, assuming that the below supply level was a "normal" one, there is a higher supply level too. That higher one is a weekly supply level too. So, assuming both are valid supply levels, would you take ...

Just added the volume filter in my trade plan now.
- pbanerjee replied Apr 1, 2012
My observations: 1. The supply level didn't work because that was X'mas weekend.. right from friday, 23/12. That meant volume was low and hence the "consolidation" was not because bears and bulls fought. They were resting. The level was a mirage. 2. ...

Thanks Ken, makes sense. Finally, I take a break for my weekend now :-)

Kenneth, Two things. First, it took 12 hours to enter the supply zone too, after it was formed. Second and more importantly, don't you think you took the best decision in real time to quit much before the target was met? After all it's all about ...
