martingale be careful i'm not against martingale. I have an EA that uses lot increase, but it needs to be consistant with the risk profile.

Why you don't use "tick data based on history" in MT5 ? this is one of the biggest quality of MT5 is to have the ticks *exactly* as they appeared historically (with real spreads), depending on the broker, so you can test a strategy on a specific ...

if you want bigger ranging periods you can change the settings according to these values for example, perfectly showing ranging periods image

put the indi in the strategy tester and watch the last three bars. you will see them changing. only the last bar should change in a non repainting indi
