There is no edge to have in trading forex. Unlike in trading options: When you sell options, you not only instantly receive a credit, but also time works in your favour, need not do anything; catch is, the credit is limited.

This is interesting because with options (selling options) one can have a real edge, the so called "theta", or time decay, works for the seller, his position gains by the day with no effort. There is no such edge in the other instruments.
