For a good trend, it is a good idea to have steep and parallel 35/50 MAs. In the area you are referring to, the 35 and 50 are diverging.

Same trade for me but NOT accidentally I was waiting for it and got in one bar later with the rejection. Closed at +10p due to news coming

I use both H4 and H1 for direction, usually M15 to trade and M5 for fine tuning.

Not the best day to trade, but couldn't resist. This was based on confluence of bouncing from M15 35/50 with H1 10. Looking only H1, seems like constrainment of H1 10. image

I am still here, using the same mostly on GU, M15, H1, rarely H4. Market has somewhat changed (AI ??) got to be more alert for flat porcupine areas. If you need more details, you have some reading to do !!
