I would check out socialtradertools.com. No VPS required. Copying one account would only cost you $20/mo.

I don't trade the daily, but I just use price action and market structure. If I did, I would trade it the same way. I would use the monthly to analyze the price level and enter on the daily/4h tf.

Thank you very much! Exactly what I was looking for!

I trade them all. Every possible pair. I only trade daily time frame though, so I need more options as my setups don't occur for months or years on a single pair. If you have a more repetitive setup, you can get away with trading one or 2 pairs. It ...

Absolutely you can! In fact, it can be best that way. There are traders that have patterns that only occur a couple times a year and that's all they need to profit. It's not quantity in the market, it's quality.

Are you guys looking for something like this? I find it far more useful than a spreadsheet. I abandoned my spreadsheet method when someone put me on to this indicator. file

IMHO, holding overnight is only risk if you are over-leveraged. If you have sized your position appropriately, an overnight gap won't but a huge dent in your account. No different than day trading when an unexpected sharp price move causes you to ...

I see your basic point that you want to focus on the art of trading vs the profit from it. I respect that. I guess it always just seemed to me like people had something to hide in masking the balance (maybe not in your case). I think the other ...

Yeah thanks. This is what remains of an account I actually almost blew up. I am experimenting with a strategy right now that, like you said, trades all pairs. I am not sure if it will end that way, but I am seeing what works and what does not at the ...

Interesting thread. Looking forward to following your journey. Quick question though. Why do you hide your account balance? I always wonder why people are fine showing their trades but yet afraid to show their account balance. I just ask because ...

I don’t agree with this. Not all trading strategies can be automated but that doesn’t mean that they can’t work. Forward testing through demo or small live accounts can still be very effective even if it takes longer.

This is 100% true.

A lot of these threads seem to be geared towards those who are day trading. In my personal experience I have found day trading and watching charts constantly to be extremely stressful. I thought I wanted to be a day trader until I did this for a ...

FA can definitely work in the short term as well, but I just mean it's generally less effective as short term strategy because typically time is a large factor in letting a fundamental prediction unfold. That's why you won't find any day traders ...

The reason for this is because TA is generally more effective as a short term strategy. For the long term, fundamentals are superior. Because large fund managers cannot dart in and out of stocks like this, TA is generally less useful to them. They ...

That would suck if it were true. I won't spend my time worrying about it though. Besides, if you are a great trader, any liquid market can be traded. There's always stocks, futures, options, etc. '
- Madinvestor replied Jan 22, 2018
The only real difference between TA and FA is that one looks at trends in price and latter observes trends in financial reports and earnings. Any study of trends will be correct sometimes. They both work, just not all the time.
