just saw this thread on the facebook page of FF... interesting, but why forexhard thinks it's impossible? It "may" be impossible to predict as a trader, but the OP is asking for a backtest method, so certainly it's not impossible to code a EA to ...

previously when the market moved outside the range, the message "Market Moved" will always be returned, but not in these instances... I have tried to enter the market not less than 20 times with the same messages as posted, anyway, I haven't traded ...

hi Lowen, did you end up working out your script? Trading801: I think in this current volatility, a 100 pips TSL would probably be ideal, and if you shorted at 1.4800, then I think your 100 pips TSL would have been hit already (as the low this ...

i also been in business frustrated for countless years and if only I have got into forex at least like 10 years earlier, then things would've been so different, but i guess you never have much choices over things like this, I just hope the market ...

hi Lowen, I don't know of any script lying around, but I'm sure you could write up a script easily, say if you enter EURO long at 1.4500, with 100pip SL @ 1.4400... then say if you're using 50pips AH, then you could set a script right away to send a ...

earlier... oh well, maybe i misunderstood this statement? and what "service" are you expecting for $500? The $500 from what I heard were supposed to be admin charges, for yearly SMS, and other misc cost, but clearly you're making it sound like that ...

Lowen: There's an easy solution to your problem, once you enter a trade, and set a stoploss, you can write some easy code with MT4, like a 2 stage alert/trade, ie. if the price goes below the stop. eg. 1.4200, the code activates the second stage, ...

tdion: I'm not in any Jacko group, but from what I can see, Jacko aren't trying to make a living out of the few hundreds that he charges, and if you feel that the $500 that you're paying, is for a "live call service", that is just very sad! I don't ...

you're right, it's quite impossible to do so.. unless you don't take your trading seriously... Trading801: just stick to the 75pips 2% MM, that will at least keep you alive while you keep learning, and you've got plenty to learn... if you can't ...

it was just a coincident, i trade 1M and it doesn't move the market, I can not imagine 150k doing anything to it at all, but as cobra said, you had your fun..

sounds easy enough to write, just store the open-close values in an array, then do a moving average on it, then draw the lines?

haha.. hi Pete, sorry, I stopped noticing you were a new poster too, I wasn't directing that comment at you at all... I sort of directed it at the one who left an email address and was so lazy enough and expected someone to send the free ...

trading 10cents per pip today is not too saddening, just need to start slowly and make sure you learn what you need to learn, get consistent, that's when you'll start making big money!

<...continued> if you still can't get the entry right, I suggest even a smaller risk, like 80pips with 2.5% of account... add more positions only after the market's moved, and you've locked in profits... I have 4 open positions on my account at the ...

starting to make sense, BUT.. .I wouldn't use less than 45pips stop for euro... just use a 75 pip stop, and risk 5% of account... have patient, make your money slowly rather than lose it quickly... I use similar risk, (and you bet I have a higher ...

NO... try demo trading with 10pips SL, I bet you get hit 7-8 times out of 10... if I trade with 10 pips SL, I think it will get hit 5 times out of 10!

that's different, it'll be a private scientific project of some sort, but having such a huge tesla coil (if that's what it is) in a normal front yard I'd think your neighbours will start calling the police.. haha...
