Hello. A weeny question if I may:- regarding pin bars, must I wait for the second eye on the right? Or would it suffice to see the first eye and a nice protruding nose to say yes, it is a Pinocchio grinning!? Thanks for the clarification!

I must have chosen the open of the first blue candle or close of the last red candle. Don't ask me why because I don't remember - the trade was made more than a year back. But if you ask me now - just looking at that chart - I will say I don't ...

Hi again Leo, you are right. I didn't realise that it's only the body that is important, thanks! Personally, I have not been paying particular attention to the candle patterns except for hammer ones. Then again, if we look back at the bearish ...

Hello Leo, here are some questions regarding your post #3. I have uploaded your chart below for easy reference. I am of the impression that both the patterns you identified are not entirely valid. For an ideal bearish engulfing pattern, the green ...

I know this question has become a bit old but since no one has taken it up yet... Yes, TD lines can be backtested. No, they are anything other than discretionary. Tom DeMark believes in trading mechanically and the systems - TD lines included - that ...

Please look at my post #36 again... I beg to differ - it was very clear that there was a TD trade, and one that satisfies both qualifiers 1 and 3. So, I would say that the trade was looking good when the signal first appeared.

Exit rules? Where? What? Anyway here's the updated chart and it's still a 50-50 to me. One of the biggest problems I encounter is placing stops. This is a daily so having a decent R:R would be hard. If I were to enter in this trade, the stop would ...

So Nick, are you actively trading TD? It's a pity we do not have a TD niche forum/thread here (or is there?). Some profitable traders like Merlin mentioned that he has been using TD's techniques for years (though I do not know which one(s) he is ...

No offence taken... and you are right, dude! In fact, that was one of my recent observations and it makes more sense too and follows more closely an ideal scenario. I am still very new into the method so if you have been using it to great success, ...

Lol, I like your honesty! ;-) Many "unexplainable" spikes for cable... For instance, my cable long is down-spiked out while my eur/gbp short reached its target nicely. Simply incredible.

Hahaha but Mouteki remains as a niche forum here at Forexfactory.

Hi dude, if you flip open your program and zoom in to USD/CAD 4h, you will see exactly what I posted. I grabbed the chart at time of posting, and added the arrow and text to show the entry signal from a previous setup. And I don't get what you meant ...

This is not a holy grail (obviously) and you will also need to apply some discretion - for instance, signals generated from spikes are generally unreliable, beware of consolidation periods, etc. To be honest, I have found that Mouteki signals for ...
