I don't know if that will happen. It wasn't able to breech and close 1.34 and been trading below 13-DEMA ever since. With the lack of EZ growth, Junker's comments and just profit taking will lead it a bit lower. There should be a bit of ...

I wonder if Germany's growth forecast at -.5% if the ECB rate will drop 25 bips to spur growth. If the EZ continues to stagnant, I would think Draghi would be compelled to do something.

you say that because you were caught long? Let's face it, the euro has no fundamental or technical reason for a untested 400 pip run. So sorry.

I love it. The "strongest" EZ country has a negative GDP and a forecasted 2013 GDP of .5% and the love loves it. Can't help buy love it, apparently shite numbers are what the world wants

This easing has come too fast. $100B Yen now, how much later?

I would not doubt this. The information is government censored. In regards to many Chinese stocks, there have been egregious accounting errors and misrepresentation. I believe the forecast for the exports was a third of reported data. I don't know ...

This may sound like a good idea at first, maybe not. I would think that countries not in trouble would want to me responsible for Southern Europe, and Germany has exactly been striking great economic numbers. Every country may be responsible, but if ...

I can understand that, but not many of us non-institutional have the capital to trade weekly, monthly, etc to make it worth while in a given trade; I won't tie up 8,10 lots on a monthly signal alone. however, we can use this in our analysis for ...

No system is 100 percent, but a system is important, nonetheless. To have no system at all would be to place random trades and hoping for the best.

It has been exciting for sure, but I think a little risky to place a momentum trade. Where can I find the COT report?

It is what I think makes spot FX a fascinating challenge. There is so much to determine, but I find a lot of traders say its extremely overvalued. Ok, but it still is going up. Now what? Traders just need to realize it doesn't matter if it is or ...

Cannot agree with you more. A primary signal in my system is a cross. It makes for a great entry in non-stagnant markets. I can get in, get out with profit without issue. I seen graphs and systems with 80 components. There is no need to complicate a ...

That is interesting. I hear a few analysts trying to get on the momentum train even after saying how "dangerous" it could be. Personally, I would want to find a nice place of tired consolidation first. Check out my fellow NYU alum, Kathy Lien. She ...

Currencies can be oversold/bought, over or undervalued for a good period of time without retracing significantly.

I can agree on both accounts. What we all attempt to do is not easy, and it has been rather an odd time for trading. I still believe we should all challenge and collaborate with each other as it will make us better.

Looks like the strength of the Euro has nothing to do with their economy, but the weakening of the dollar and potential US default. A secondary reserve of sorts.

Lol, we're all analysts aren't we? I have read a lot of Fan's articles and enjoy them (particularly the JPY pairs). He has been right quite a bit. We never are 100 percent. But, he also shared similar thoughts to my original comment. I was not ...

I don't think it works like that!

Agreed. These analysts try to jump the gun with sloppy analysis to pat themselves on the back if it's correct.
