End of week report — Here's my end of week report for the standard V22 set up (not using Hanover). Things to note: Good first few trades - then steadily downhill from there. AUDUSD fired off multiple trades, closing immediately and then ...

Standard V22 settings on 6 majors had a torrid time overnight PST and into today. But then what can you expect when there is a sudden (not trailed) news announcement? I will keep these settings running, but may add PBH's to the mix too to see how it ...

You gotta love those guys at Metatrader....

Pesky error (1) no error error — I thought that USDJPY had topped out too, but V22 just closed its 3rd profitable (demo) trade on it. So 1 AUDUSD and 3 USDJPY trades since market open. Very nice settings indeed! I am skeptical about preventing ...

Error (1) - no error — @ Seller 9 Thanks for the updated version. I will load that up and give it a go. BTW, I did not see the multiple AUDUSD trades that others are referring to. Strange some get this and others do not. Cheers Invisible

Error (1) - no error — It looks like the EA tried to initiate the candlestick trailing stop, but then this failed with this error (see attached screenshot). Not sure what a "no error" error could be.... Looking at the account equity analyzer ...

Thanks, Seller 9.

Cheers Max. That's interesting as he is using V20 but with your v19 settings, then. I wonder if he is using the Hanover module that is new in V20, or if he has it switched off? Invisible

Looks good, Seller9. My test of a tweaked version of your H1 set is spinning its wheels, so I would like to try something new. When you say "Max's set file" could you point me to the number of the post with that set file you are referring to, ...

Eagle Pip I suppose if you wanted an interim solution, you could run this EA on a demo account and watch the trade results to give you cues for your main live trading account. Invisible

Thank you, Seller9. This is one of the threads I check on daily. I am still running your H1 set, but with SL at 1 x ATR and TP at 0.6 ATR runing 1 hour prior to London open through to the end of the London session. Last week it ended with a very ...

Well, that is pretty clear. I don't really agree with the application, as I'm sure it would be possible to distinguish between commercial members providing free, open source work in general forum threads - and commercial members' threads in the ...

Every time someone looks at a thread, FF servers show them advertising that helps pay FF's bills and generates profit for them. Fair enough. FF is a commercial operation. You can see how many times this has occurred by the number of "views" listed. ...

Steve, This is a very disappointing development and I can really understand your frustration. Apart from emailing Twee (which I will, of course, do), may I suggest a possible solution for your consideration? How about you start a thread in the ...

Unless I have really misconstrued this particular trading method, this is a completely mechanical set of rules and therefore can be made into an EA. Why wait for the indicators to line up when you can have the EA do it for you? How you trade with an ...

@ ill be back This EA has lot of Steve's MPTM functions built in already - trailing stop, jumping stop etc. as Steve was the one who started building this EA in the first place. The settings are near the end of the long settings list.

Update on Seller9 H1 set but with TP 0.6 and SL 1.0: A reasonable start to the week. Running from just prior to London open and until mid US session only. Not a lot of trades and is currently a little below breakeven, which I think is not bad ...
