I believe that you are fighting the wrong fight. People have explained how 20% is 20% no matter what. In profit sharing I would think that the Investor wants the longest measurement time profile possible while the trader wants the shortest ...

JanFx, Here is a modification to your original breakout concept. I am a H4/D1 trader so I am using H4 in this example. The Cloud (9,25,34 your inputs) and the 10 SMMA PAC appears to be as good as a Trend Identifier as most other systems so use it. ...

replaced, you again are asserting certain assumptions without actually disclosing them. Your math is correct for independent events that may or may not occur in the future. Your math is correct only on Trade 0. It is not correct once Trade 1 or ...

I wasn't refuting your trading concept. In fact, I trade levels as well. My comment was that CAD trades can be noisy right now due to fundamentals wrt oil. I have no doubt that you would meet with even more success in the current environment with ...

I have been doing this for over 5 years and life is good. The depth of your analysis is that winning 100 is 2x as large as losing 50 so it is twice as likely not to be achieved. That makes no sense. Then you do some basic math to arrive at 66% and ...

Replaced, these are 2 very large assumptions that you have placed on this scenario. The second bolded statement above does not have any support from you but rather just a bold statement. I would probably guess that his scenario is more like 65% win ...

Lets say that you have 5 rules that you wish to evaluate and they each have different weights assigned to them. Rule 1..Rsi > 50 weight 25 Rule 2 Close[1] > Close[2] weight 30 Rules 3 Close[1] > EMA55 weight 15 Rule 4 CCI > 100 weight 15 Rule 5 ...

So not something that should cause me to run away in your opinion. Currently searching for another broker that will accept CAD deposits so I have a backup.

I just restarted the platform and I can trade. It is always the simple solution. Could have just entered at the market instead of spending time wasted. You think that Support would have mentioned that. Oh well. Wait for the retrace and find another ...

I did the disconnect/reconnect but did not think to do a complete shutdown. Thanks for that.

After 3 calls and 4 emails they cancelled my orders. The Sell Stop was rejected due to slippage. OK. I will agree with that. But then they kept the order and turned it into a Sell Limit. I personally prefer that they just delete the order if they ...

You would not be able to patent it but you could easily copyright the name. So you could name it the DTSC (deltatrader super candle). Then when Steve Nison or Bulkovsky is creating a new book on patterns or candlesticks and refer to it by mane then ...

Not quite true either...just change the histogram size based on the zoom factor. But you are right in that it paints over the bar. My point to @topdogg is that it can be done.
