ex4 can be easily decompiled! is that so? really?
- PurplePatch replied Jun 23, 2010
No, no - it's what can I do for you? Probably nothing, and I'm probably best keeping my mouth shut under the circumstances, good luck with the thread. The only thing you could do for me is accept my apologies, and carry on with the thread so that ...

How about a compromise? Why don't we all draw a line under it here, respect Price, I was a bit OTT there. But what if dungle put's a link before the stupid stuff that jumps to below the line drawn here:- ...

I agree, that's why I'm suggesting it is worthwhile to restart the thread, most people will just come along this thread and disregard it, and that would be a damn shame. This ones all gone wrong, partly my fault I admit, but it deserves more ...

Price - I'm not asking him to start a new thread, I'm merely suggesting that it would be more beneficial for everyone concerned if that was done. And don't you think you are being a little hypocritical, you're not exactly discussing his framework ...

Isn't that more like hiding your mistakes, some of my posts may well seem silly, but it will still be there for all to see what happens if they start a thread called 'The Holly Grail', and do we want that happening to someone else again? I respect ...

It'll be easier for dungle to restart, and there is actually some funny stuff.

We will need an EA to work out the permutations.

Dungle - I see you've taken the advice and changed the name of the thread, but it has been so abused, you would be better off and it would be more helpful for everyone if you started a nice new clean one, you can probably guarantee that you will get ...

I do have a life and I'm very relaxed, it all started when I stopped programming EAs I suppose it's that Grail thing, there seems to be a lot of it about at the moment. I knew that many a major financial institution throw thousands of dollars at ...

I will never understand, why people don't take the benefit of my experience and save a lot of time money and stress and go and spend money, waste time and get stressed. Please do me a big favour and in 12 months when you've been through what I went ...

Seems we agree more than I thought, you must have pressed submit on your last post a second before me. I think you nailed the point home though, if you start a thread with holy grail - it just becomes irresistible.
- PurplePatch replied Jun 23, 2010
Childish? Maybe? But very pragmatic with a sense of humour to go with it. So Pipologist99 I agree with you, a lot of stuff does 'work' but like you said it yourself you have to SEE it, proving the point that it is no holy grail, just another set of ...

Yes, it's not the same as a woodwork teacher is it, where your student given the right instruction could well develop a skill that surpasses his master. And your right they can talk the talk, but is it real talk even? But any practicable tools, ...

So that's where the secret entry point is.

it encourages idiots to make stupid and irrelevant comments.
- PurplePatch replied Jun 23, 2010
You are welcome, I have extensive project management experience, and managing people and their expectations can be more than half the project managers role, like being a teacher at kindergarten at times, the most apparently sensible and mature can ...

Are they about lemmings?
- PurplePatch replied Jun 23, 2010
Please take my advice - don't bother, I'm a highly experienced programmer, I have written extensive and complex EAs, if you want to prove to yourself it's a waste of time fair enough, I wouldn't have listened to me either.

Just keep the code to yourself.
