Good post. It makes sense. I think most people who have beef with this rule are on Metatrader which was designed to make traders think trading is 'easy'.

Is it true that NFA membership is not required for US spot forex brokers and is only optional? If so, why are US brokers still supporting the NFA after they are costing them thousands of customers?

I have been an IBFX client for 3 years. I am ready to move my account if they can not fix this ASAP. I understand the no hedging, but, not being able to place opposing stop orders will kill my trading system.

These "problems" should only hurt you if you are scalping or trading with very tight stops and limits. If you are trading this way, you should not be using MT4.

Im not sure how anyone can successfully trade the news anymore. The price is just as likey to spike the opposite way that makes sense. Plus, the spreads have been as high as 30 pips on the major pairs on ECN brokers. OUCH!
