About your second question: Use this approach for general settings. For "fine tuning" use visual mode. I don't know what curve-fitting means If you have real tidkt data you already have it tested againts real spreads.

You can easily find out what you have with proper backtesting. I agree, my rules are coded and cant change them for everybody.
