Great stuff, this is actually very similar to how I currently trade. I prefer this for some of the following reasons: - Less switching between lower and higher timeframes as the multiple MA's give you a short term and long term view of where price ...

That's quite interesting - I would certainly be interested in know more (about the dots specifcally). I too have started trading a system where I use a 'rainbow' of moving averages to determine entries and exits (without any oscillators). One key ...

On the chart I attached there is no HTF filter, just pure H4. I did build HTF filters and found that for some pairs trading in the direction of daily was better, for others it was the weekly and for some no HTF filtering at all was best. The main ...

I created a EA that took crossover trades based on some of the rules on page 1 (this gave decent results) and then I optimized it by k-ratio to improve the curve. Below is the result of trades on GBPUSD over 7 years from 2014 to 2021 trading on the ...

Completely agree - always take a birds eye view before placing trade. Not just looking left, but zooming out and seeing the overall structure. Focus on quality over quantity. Its taken me many trades to be able to spot the best setups but its much ...

Hi Marcus Agree on all your points in using all the indicators together to evaluate the setup. I give high importance to the PMO and the stoch crossing zero. Though I prefer to trade DAX using a single timeframe though as I find its easy to ...

I originally avoided lower time frames such as the 5 min and 15 min as BigE was quite against them. Scalping small pips with high leverage seems more risky, yet with the current market conditions, trying to catch big swings on H4 and above is ...

When there are no higher timeframe setups then I start to look for lower time frames. 5 minute time frame works well for me as you have the benefit of 1 min for tuning and 15 min for confirmation. So far my trial on the 5 min is going well. However, ...

Let us know how this goes, I found traditional h4+d1 not that great last week, but h1+h4 still doing well. I also agree with keeping this strategy simple.

Hi Krismitt Thanks for explaining. I initially thought you were trading H4 as your primary trend with D1 for confirmation and M15 for refining entries but if I understand correctly you are actually trading M15 as your primary trend (i.e. M15 is used ...

Hi Neil Ok, so it sounds to me that you are using some kind of fractal indicator to get those probabilities. That's what I wanted to know.

Hi Krismitt It's been a good week for me too (300+ pips a day). Below are real results from one of my accounts. The results are similar to yours but the only big difference is that you seem to have more than double my trades. Are you scaling in? ...

It's impressive that you are able to forecast the probabilities with such accuracy considering the number of variables in the Forex markets. Care to elaborate more on how you made your calculations? Just curious that's all.

No decent H4 + D1 setups today - so staying on the sidelines on that market. Going down to M15 + H1 setups. Did a long trade with XAUUSD in the morning, doing nicely currently and hopefully this will turn into a H4 trade.

Yes, I use it to trade ethusd in a different 'higher risk' account and so far over the past few months have done fine (even taking into account the high spreads).

Not seeing any good H4+D1 setups today, staying out of that market. Though H4 + H1 still has a few good opportunities (just shorted EURSGD a few moments ago)
