no, i did not read all your post , as per mt4 it's hedge (see my previous screen shot ) hedge have different meanings each trader have his own interpretation , as long as you know what you doing it's good, you don't have prove your self to ...

brokers i have used so far freed up leverage by hedge , not a waste of leverage , i mainly use them for partial s/l , i can avoid spread loss with my script (close by option)

open 10 long and 1 short on demo account and run this script (i hope ur using mt4) and post trade history here, hedge is useful if you use it wisely (like use against long term trade ) edit screen shot
