The truth is none of us know which way this will go until markets open. Didn't the provisional results get posted Friday though and the actuals are the same so won't this be priced in?

I would of thought Cable would of shot up like a rocket on this news but it's actually coming down a little at the moment. Strange. A couple of months ago on this news we would of got a 100 pip spike.

No its not standard to ask for a lower price - if anything in the UK I would say you ask for a slightly higher price. The flat was being sold as seen - plus a couple of k towards building renovations on top of asking price.
