Wow, what a move north at 3pm GMT. I was in town with no open trades ( scalping most of the time ). This event justifies again that I am at my computer while trading.

i did quite well, entered 10 minutes after the news release ( 2 countertrades, already closed ) and made some green pips. happy about it :-)

Well, the market does not always move in the direction of the content of the news. That´s why I tend to countertrade the move after the initial sharp spike, which can last up to 5 minutes.

I really think they do. No need for big position sizes, if you are in trouble e.g. with your margin you will show up on their screens and they will catch you.

I would be very cautious to advice people how to trade ( I read your previous posting like this ) unless you are absolutely an insider or you provide a reason why you behave like this. Your reason is just not good enough for me, so I consider that ...

Nice graph but i don´t believe anymore that ea´s work profitable. You simply cannot code what your eyes see and your experience tells you. Exiting a trade is a virtue.

The price is random, that´s true. But there are quite some self-fulfilling predictions that work, including the trend, R/S lines, MA´s, etc. They work because of a lot of traders use them for their trading. So a completely "clean chart" is not ...

Someone is pushing up hard. Looks like resistance at 1.2353 breaks. Trend: Even while scalping I respect the H4 Trend, works better for me.

True, thanks. Up to now we saw only about 60% of yesterday´s max. volume, though ( according to my numbers ).

New York will open in 25 minutes together with some news ( medium importance ). let´s see where we go then.
