Closed my shorts yesterday, thin market but loss taken and loss is loss. Still few points left on the table. Bought at 25,ooo but will manage the trade closely.

DAX has taken the high of the day before yesterday. Dow stalls. Still expect it to move up a bit more today. Stay green.

Very wise words indeed. I would add that those unsuccessful traders that are going to fail constantly are not looking for improvement. On the surface it might seem they do but deep beneath they are sabotaging themselves and then looking who to blame ...

Excellent news from yesterday night - buy limit order filled at 24270. Expect the price to test two days ago high.

The market is taking rest today after such a push of yesterday. Will buy a dip at 24 270 if happens today but most probably not. Tomorrow might bring another push to break yesterday's high. Will be staying on the long side, anyway. Stay green.

Just entered long slightly below 23. Will see how it goes. Expect some rebound as stops probably were taken just below the line in the sand.

@Neogenesis Definitely. I trade with the market, not with my own position. What I meant I would always try to look for long entries even in bear market when trade indices. Ground is always limited and the sky is endless.

Market is in a rising range, IMHO, and the MACD actually says that it is in the range. Frankly, I do not care about the MACD, it's all the the same MA function. So anyway, market may go both ways (oh, really? ) but I prefer to stay on the long ...

Inevitably, alas. June Futures liquidity dried up, even with one or two desperate bulls left there is no power to push it up north. Brent is falling too and fundamentals are bleak. One must be really an optimist to stay on the long side until summer ...

I found it many years ago there was no logic in the markets. Only emotions. Fear and greed. And a lot, a lot of folly.

With enormous buying into June contract again might be another spectacular view of crashing into minus zone in a few weeks just before expiration. Oh well, greed and folly are endless.

This is none of my business but current WTI contract (May) will expire today. Next months (June) contract difference is almost 10 USD currently (around 22USD). It depends on the broker, but normally all current positions will be closed or rolled ...
