What about large candles/volume that are produced by news, like today at 13:30 and 13:45 GMT? Are these candles used or overlooked because of the news only traders that cause the increases in volume?

I use the 34 high, low and close and have used it for sometime now. I first learned of this "river" EMA from a book I read by Raghee Horner called Forex Trading for Maximum Profit. It works a treat!!

I am finding that what worked last month may not work this month or the next. The market is always changing and subsequently so must your trading system, so to speak. I just need to learn to change with the market and price action.

I can't explain it nor can I explain why the market moved substantially with today's news, but it did. Just be aware of up coming news by looking at the FF news section and pay a lot of attention to the red flagged news. The red flag news, as FF ...
