Not necessary. Sometimes the govt wants a weak currency. Helps export etc. A few months ago RBA said AUD was too high.

Not necessarily meaningless, tick volume with candle stick patterns are pretty damn powerful. it takes a while to understand and use it in trading though.

Its basically a channel. Where when price hits sigma -3 (the red part in the indicator) that means that price has to revert to the mean. Pretty useful indicator. And quite powerful when combined with price action.

Anyway , I feel the next best option after Alpari is dukascopy. ECN model. And tight spreads.

Does anyone know if Iron FX is regulated? The fact that they are in Cyprus scares me. I have heard good reviews of them though. Thanks.

You do have a point. Let me check with the if they hold the money in bank accounts or segregated client fund. Being regulated and all. I'm pretty sure it should be segregated. No harm checking. Cheers.

i think it might be a fixed % from each client's account. maybe 3% or 5%. even so, charging me to return my money. joke. Alpari should bear the cost.
