it's means there's only an Ex4 file in the folder and not the Mq4 - therefore you have no access to modify it should still be usable though as a side note - build 509 files need to be located in both the original experts folder and also the new MQl ...

the upgrade is automatic for most brokers, next time you close the platform and restart it, the platform will check for updates and install them without asking.
