The thick blue line looks like a Gann Hi/Low line to me and the red lines on Howard's chart look to be the range of the bars you use as your "breakout" zone with this strategy. The thin blue line looks like a daily range indicator or something like, ...

Hi freddi, Sorry, I can't give you any feedback as I don't trade this system or any moving average crossovers for that matter. Just noticed you were struggling on which indicators to use so thought I could help. pn

That's exactly what I've been looking at, the gap this week was huge! I think on weeks like that the system should/could be given a week off as we've probably already missed our flight!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention billbss! I'll certainly have a look, as a good guy of these forums who always asks appropriate questions I'm sure this will have it's merit!! Is this system purely for use on EUR/USD as in your example? pn

Dealing with gapping — Hi billbss, How do you combat any gapping that often occurs during the weekend? If the price gaps below the range do you just trade from that price or do you wait for it to retrace back into the range before setting your ...

I've got my eye on them but personally I'm not seeing enough solid price action to confirm a trade for me yet. In fact all the pairs I trade are too flat for trading today, I suppose the heavy news week ahead is keeping the markets quiet.

Hi TK, Nice simple system you have here! I notice you prefer to use the OSMA rather than MACD for entries. Can I just ask what does the signal setting on the OSMA indicator do? I know on MACD it gives the 100 average of the histogram bars and plots ...
