this is the only and only way to make money trading short term. small deposits / acccount and compound like crazy.... can b fun as well of course with the 50% stop out level the esma made things difficult.

another option would be to create my own index...however, that would be too expensive even if I rebalance it yearly... PLUS I would have to pay more taxes.

some people consider diversification stupid... I mean succesful investors, very intelligent ppl... to me, diversification is more about humbleness than stupidity.

equal weight vs market weight. buying a market weighted index means betting 5% or more on a single stock.if you are a trend follower, that's fine .. but I like to diversify so I prefer equal weight.

Good news... the sp is down 20% since january... but I'm going to wait some more to buy.. Not because of breakouts, chart patterns and other technical stuff... Not because of the economics, politics and other fundamental stuff... it's just about ...

I don't know what moves the market: FA, TA (momentum investing), rational decisions lol... maybe fear and greed play the biggest role. fear moves it fast, greed moves it slowly. my whole work is to find price patterns and optimal entry points.

I would like to share my thoughts as a contrarian investor, just for funr: I don't need to use leverage and martingale at all....that's gambling lol

the sp dropped some more these days and it's down 14%. the average DD is around 17%, not to mention the peak DD. according to my own analysis, those stocks are still overpriced look at the average return of the SP and judge yourself.

how to determine when price is low or high ? I look at the average return and DD of a "diversified" index.

who voted "up" ? who ?? the stock market is going down you.... Just kidding if it goes down, it would be great as my strategy is build areound price... It's not about predictions price is low = buy price is high = don't buy / sell

what is high risk and what is low risk ? low risk is often associated with diversification... they advise to diversify as much as you can... to me , there's no such thing as "low risk"... but diversification lowers risk statistically, so why not ...
