you need to first distinguish what type of trader you are? long/medium/short term, swing, scalp, and etc... experience then plays a major role, study and practice charting... have a journal to see where things work and wont work. repeat and repeat ...

well its really $150 per pip you're doing. just my opinion but why waste your time making 1 pip a day, when you could concentrate making 5 pips in a week. It's like making one good call rather than 5 good calls in a week. You could enjoy more time ...

it really depends on your trading method. There's euro debt crisis, central bank interventions, economic news release, and many more fundamentals. You can definitely use those extra information to give you an advantage if you use it right. Charts ...

well it depends on your trading method. But in my experience its ideal to place a stoploss. Sometimes youre just not disciplined enough to take the lost and continue to adjust the SL for even greater damage. Possibly an unexpected "intervention" or ...

there is liquidity when session overlaps then slows when traders have lunch break. As well market is liquid when news is announced. Charts are also a good way to tell, the price action and the daily average pip movements made.

the shortest trade was 5 sec when i use to trade US economic news, which i dont do anymore. i trade higher timeframes so positive typically last 1-5 days.

i trade 8 pairs that i can watch comfortably. i guess it depends on how you trade ex.long/short term, scalp/swing, and etc..
