Martingale goes well until it goes wrong. Simple backtesting of this kind of system shows that it will inevitably crash at some point, wiping out your whole account. Believe me, I've tested many... If you think that the market has a maximum of 9 ...

You've posted this same message in 6 different threads by now. I question your reading skills. The paragraph in bold just says that they can force the sale of other securities in your account. If you have none, there is nothing to be sold.

First I want to say thanks for your great thread, it's interesting to follow. Secondly, it doesn't make sense to talk about reaching your 6% goal this month, when your Equity is minus 12%. The reality of your account is the Equity. The "Distance to ...
The Dollar Cost Averaging Pivot Point Trading Method

Your idea is quite similar to Martingale. At some point it breaks down because you simply don't have the bank to survive a long series of losses. This has nothing to do with being (I quote from your post above) "wrong to forecast the winning ratio ...

"1% Daily" demo account shows 30% equity drop since Friday - holding 15 lots against the USD was not a good idea. How does the EA handle this kind of catastrophic case? The EA's response to this kind of situation is a lot more interesting than the ...

No mistake, losing trades are part of any Forex activity. It is a pity that no effort is being made by the supporters of this system to indicate what needs to be done with losing trades. People have a tendency to show off their (fairly ...

We're saying exactly the same thing. To trade this 5-pips-only system successfully you already need to "know how to trade" and NOT literally follow the presented method. This means that this thread is completely pointless. If you don't know how to ...

You pay a commission to the ECN broker, didn't you know? The cost to gain ratio remains very bad for micro-transactions, whether you pay by spread or by commission. As I said before, there is a reason why all of this is found in "Rookie Talk".

I am a long-term profitable trader, but that isn't even relevant. YOU should be able to demonstrate that YOUR system is profitable. Isn't that the point of this thread? What has been presented in this thread is not a profitable strategy on the 3 ...

It doesn't improve enough to compensate for the very bad gain to cost ratio of these short-term micro-trades (5 pips gain vs. 1.5 to 2 pips cost). I invite you to do a backtracing test with real broker tick data (say for EURUSD, GBPUSD and JPYUSD) ...

You've discovered the basic flaw of "the system" and of this whole thread. It's easy to make 5 pips if you're ready to lose 15 pips. Even with completely random entry points you'll have a 75% success rate, but in the end you don't win anything - you ...

Looking at your web site url I noticed that the two demo accounts show 1% or 2% profit per day, but your live account is only break-even after 2 months. Is this a system that only works in short-lived demos?

Indeed, interesting. At the day's high of 1.0830 the loss was about 9%. Price needs to drop to 1.0793 for break-even.
