Hi with you dot system you say two bars up then two bars down then trade if other conditions are met do you trade if it is more than two bars up say 3 or 4 then two down or does it have to be 2 up 2 down ??????????????

Why not use Bill Williams alligator its a standed indicator in MT4 just cick on indicators bill williams and you have it . It clearly defines ranging and trending markets I am about to try it myself

Dont quit go to demo and learn what works their are people making good money. Stop looking for that magic indicator and learn to read price action. A good book on candle stick trading would be a good place to start may I suggest Louise Bedfords book
