Well trader121 I tend to disagree with you here. Surely most of the traders loose because of their own limitations. BUT let's not forget about MF and PFG. So IMO if we can mitigate somehow this sort of operational risk then our losses can be blamed ...
Dukascopy: what do the fills on large orders look like?
- liopro replied Jan 26, 2014
Thanks for your input shrike. But do you think they're capable of filling relatively large order without any significant slippage? We all know that their advertised 100M liquidity is not exactly on the best bid/ask and not even close to that

So this is the point I didn't quite understand. May I ask you to write a short list of those "good locations"? I believe it's the most important thing
Jankone M5 threadMuch appreciated, mate! P.S Why on your last chart you marked one of the bars with "bad location"? ...

Within he prior bar's body or within the prior bar? So to summarise: 1. If the overall "zoomed out" trend is up you take good PB which is located anywhere as long as retracement isn't too steep. 2. If retracement too steep you take PB with div. 3. ...

It seems that if you treat a trend like stockEX does i.e. zoom out and see
Jankone M5 threadthen you'll be able to catch quite a few PBs which go with trend. On the other hand if you go jankone's or ryan's way almost all the PBs are going to be CT and those that ...

So could you please specify where do you want your PBs to be located?Because I'm lost a bit
Jankone M5 threadI see thatyou don't require them to be at the SMA21 as ryan and jankone do.What's the ideal location for you then?
- liopro replied Nov 13, 2012
But wait, Jankone as well as Ryan consider "with trend" bars as those which close above 21SMA if the trend is up.The bar you've showed now isn't a "with trend" bar but kind of a trade when BB is flat.

Point taken
Jankone M5 threadWell it's a kind of pinbar. Grade B I'd say
I took it and had a loss. Happens though. But do post your examples, it would be definitely of a great help to all of us.
- liopro replied Nov 12, 2012
Why not? 1. There're higher lows and higher highs, SMA21 is above SMA50. So why isn't it a trend? 2. There's hidden divergence between the lows. 3. The pinbar itself isn't perfect one. That's true. Could you post some "with-trend" set-ups you would ...
